I’m grateful to @ball_is_our_way_out_ for capturing these moments of love and passion for our communities at the Youth Explosion 🎉❤️

Becoming a speaker wasn’t my initial goal, but inspiring positive change and saving lives is. I’ve come to realize that being myself, a unique and worthy individual, is key. I had to break free from letting others’ opinions define me and keep #BridgingTheGap doing Gods work ‼️

I thank the Lord for guiding me and showing me that there are people who appreciate and value what I have to offer. It’s time to move away from the SLAVERY mentality of using and judging others, and instead, focus on lifting each other up. When we’re unsure about something, it’s essential to approach it with empathy and understanding, rather than criticism when it not your business to know its time to learn .

This mindset shift can help us break free from the SLAVERY mentality and limitations of our past and create a brighter future. With God’s guidance and support, I’m confident that we can create positive change and achieve greatness. Amen 🙏🏾 💪🏽❤️

This Saturday was another powerful reminder of why we do what we do — showing love and support is the heart of Bridging The Gap Youth Program.

We explored the future through conversations about the Metaverse, shared how our youth are building their dreams through technology and creativity, and gave away ROBLOX gift cards to spark imagination and digital learning! 🕹️💡

🎟️ Our raffles were a hit (as always!)
🍽️ The food was amazing
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Families spent quality time together
🎉 And most importantly — the kids had an AWESOME time!

Honoring my grandmother Mary Cameron’s memory on Mother’s Day by giving away hats was a healing experience. One of the recipients reminded me that it’s the thought that counts, not the quantity, and that truly resonated with me. Seeing others smile and feeling the energy of giving was incredibly uplifting. I’m grateful for the insight to continue celebrating my grandmother’s love and legacy, even after her passing. She was an extraordinary woman who embodied strength, kindness, and compassion, and I feel blessed to have had her in my life. This group of young achievers holds a special place in my heart and within our organization, as they have overcome obstacles to reach their goals and truly deserve community recognition.
